Electrode Arrays

The Electrode Arrays Cap is a cap that makes it possible to simultaneously locate 1 to 256 electrodes on subjects head. The EA Cap will fit different head shapes and sizes and will be comfortable to wear. The Electrode Arrays cap conform to the 10-20 positioning system.

The EA cap uses shielded cable. The electrodes are made from sintered Ag/AgCl metal. A few additional features of the EA cap are:

• The cap is made of Lycra material which allows the cap to be stretched on a head and sit evenly on the head without any bulking

• The cap material has uniform holes that keep the head from warming hence, provides added comfort to the subject

• The electrodes are snapped-on between the cap to ensure that the electrodes do not pop off

• All wires are located inside the cap, keeping them out of the way during positioning and gel injection, reducing hair entanglement and minimizing shorted electrodes

• Electrodes are labeled on the cap

• Shielded lead wires

The EA Cap is compatible with all standard AC/DC EEG amplifiers. Each cap connector will have a passive memory chip that will read out the serial number and other device information.
